The original Legend Reborn (Joey’s game) launched in 2004 with a tiny card pool — roughly 300 cards, ending around Invasion of Chaos. It was stiff, linear, and laughably easy once you unlocked Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
Then came v2 — an unofficial patch? A secret official update? The truth is murky. Some say Konami of America released it as a digital booster. Others swear it was a modder’s masterpiece. What’s undeniable: v2 added over 150 new cards, including the first wave of Cybernetic Revolution cards (Cyber Dragon, Proto-Cyber Dragon, Power Bond) — months before the physical TCG release.
