A verified XDecoder 105 has passed stress tests:
Low-quality clones send corrupted voltage signals. There are thousands of horror stories of a $30 clone destroying a $1,500 ECU. The Verified unit has over-voltage protection and surge isolation.
The standard OBD2 reader showed "Generic Chassis Code." The XDecoder 105, however, drilled down into the EHC (Air Supply) module. It displayed live pressure sensor data in real-time and allowed us to activate the compressor manually using the bi-directional control. We diagnosed a leaking rear air bag in under 12 minutes.
