By 2030, the VAMC route map will not stand alone. It will connect to:

Phase 1 (0–4 years): Feasibility, environment clearances, design of Virar–Panvel express segment, initiate priority interchange construction, and pilot ferry integration. Phase 2 (4–8 years): Construct expressway and transit spine Virar–Panvel; build Panvel interchange and ferry terminals.
