The film is a sequel to Piranha 3D and follows a new outbreak of prehistoric, flesh-eating fish.
The Setting: One year after the massacre at Lake Victoria, Arizona, the prehistoric piranhas have moved upstream through the town's plumbing system.
The Conflict: Marine biology student Maddy returns home to find her greedy stepfather, Chet, has turned her mother's water park into an adult-themed attraction called "Big Wet".
The Outbreak: Despite warnings from piranha expert Mr. Goodman (played by Christopher Lloyd), Chet taps into an underground lake to fill his park's pools, unknowingly inviting the swarm directly into the park.
The Chaos: The piranhas begin attacking guests through the park's plumbing, leading to a massive bloodbath during the grand opening.
The Climax: Maddy and her friends, Barry and Kyle, fight to drain the pools and stop the predators. The film ends on a cliffhanger where it is revealed that the piranhas have evolved and can now move on land.
