Tableau Server License Key Activation ⚡ Secure

Tableau contacts the licensing server. If valid, you will see:

“License activation succeeded. Your license is valid until [date].” tableau server license key activation

Licensing tab → Select key → Deactivate. Tableau contacts the licensing server

Critical: Deactivate before uninstalling or shutting down the old server. If you lose access to the old server, you need a manual license reset from Tableau Support (requires proof of destruction). “License activation succeeded

You should see your key, expiration date (if any), and seat counts.
✅ Online activation complete. Your users can now sign in.
