To understand the software, one must first understand the hardware. The ADR 450 is a compact electronic air/fuel ratio control system designed for industrial burners. It ensures optimal combustion by precisely controlling the air damper, gas valves, and VSDs (Variable Speed Drives).
The ACS 450 software is the configuration and diagnostic tool used to parameterize this controller. While the ADR 450 runs the show on the burner, the ACS 450 environment is where engineers define how the show runs.
Software Cause: The "Local" button on the keypad is disabled via software lock. Solution: Check Parameter 1607 LOCAL LOCK. If set to 1 (LOCKED), you cannot override remote commands. Change to 0.
Because the ACS 450 is a legacy product (succeeded by the Sinamics series), you must treat the "Software Top" with care.
