RosnoC is a custom font file format (usually RosnoC.ttf) used primarily in Magisk modules or Substratum themes for OnePlus devices (and some other Android skins). It controls the lockscreen clock, AOD (Always on Display) font, and sometimes system UI numerals.

Absolutely – but with one caveat. If you are using the old Rosnoc Text in a legacy document that will never be edited again, there’s no urgent need. However, for any new project or ongoing client work, the Rosnoc Font UPD is non-negotiable.
The improved hinting alone justifies the update for Windows users. Add in the variable axes and expanded language support, and you’re looking at a typeface that competes with industry giants like Inter, Roboto, and Helvetica Now.
