Pes 6 How To Shoot Official

Basic Shot: Press Circle (PS2) or B (Xbox). Power is determined by how long you hold the button. Short tap = low ground shot; medium hold = driven shot; long hold = high blast (often over the bar).

Controlled / Side-foot Shot: Press Circle + R2 after powering up. This gives a finesse, curling shot with higher accuracy but less power. Best for 1-on-1s or angled finishes.

Low Shot / Grounder: After powering up, press Circle + Triangle. Keeps the ball low and hard – very effective near the penalty spot or when the keeper rushes out.

Chip Shot (Lob): Circle + R1 (or L1 + Circle depending on settings). Standard chip uses R1 after power; L1+Circle is a pre-loaded lob. Use when keeper charges out. pes 6 how to shoot

Volley / One-time Shot: Press Circle before the ball arrives. Timing is critical – too early or late leads to a mishit. Player’s balance and ball height matter.

The most controversial mechanic in PES 6. A properly executed chip is unsaveable. A poorly executed chip looks comical.

When breaking the defensive line:

  • Edge of box with space:

  • Cross to near post:

  • Volleys from cross:

  • One of the most overpowered moves in the PES 6 meta is the chip shot, specifically the L1 (LB) + Shoot combination.

PES 6 offers four distinct shot types. Learning when to use each separates a good player from a great one.

Unlike later entries in the series, PES 6 uses a deliberately slow power gauge. When you hold the shoot button (□ / X), a bar fills up at the bottom of the screen. Basic Shot: Press Circle (PS2) or B (Xbox)
