PassFab 4WinKey builds its own custom WinPE (Windows Preinstallation Environment) image (boot.img). In version 8.4.1 the developers switched to a newer compression algorithm (LZMS) that fails on systems using UEFI Secure Boot. When Secure Boot is enabled, the firmware refuses to load the unsigned image, resulting in the black‑screen error. Category: Security / System Tools OS Support: Windows
