Sometimes, a player’s territory remains on the map, but the player has died. That territory is now free for the taking (though it will disappear if not re-captured soon). The mini map tells you if a territory is haunted. Even players who know the mini map exists often misuse it
How to execute: Watch for a large colored territory that has no moving dot (snake head) inside it on the mini map. This means the owner is dead. Rush to that territory immediately. You can capture huge swaths of land without fighting a single enemy. The mini map tells you if a territory is haunted
Experienced players use the mini map to camp. If you see an enemy trail extending near your territory on the mini map, you can wait just inside your border. As soon as their trail touches your territory, you can dart out and kill them, instantly claiming all the land they were trying to capture.
