Drag suspension is counter-intuitive compared to Grip builds. You want the car to be "loose" to transfer weight to the rear tires.
| Speed Range | Rear Downforce | Front Downforce | Note | |-------------|----------------|----------------|-------| | 0-120 mph | 0-15% | 0% | Downforce adds drag you don’t need at low speeds. | | 120-160 mph | 20-30% | 5-10% | Stabilizes car under high power. | | 160+ mph | 35-40% | 10-15% | Required to prevent “wheel hop” and rear sway. | nfs pro street drag tuning work
Never max rear downforce – it kills trap speed. Find the minimum that keeps the car arrow-straight past the 1000-foot mark.
Never race without running the dyno.
Before touching the sliders, ensure you have the correct parts installed. You cannot tune around missing parts.
Clutch users: Feather the clutch for the first 0.5 sec – prevents spin. This is the most technical part of ProStreet tuning
Focus: straight-line acceleration, launch, traction, and shifting. Tune aerodynamics, gearing, differential, suspension, and power delivery to minimize 0–quarter-mile time and ensure consistent launches. Assume a mid–high-power muscle or sports car unless you specify a model.
