Next Gen Os - V3.7 For J200g

The developer, known as AstraMods, has confirmed in a recent GitHub commit that Next Gen OS v4.0 is in alpha testing. It will be based on Android 14 Go (Tiramisu) with a backported Linux kernel 4.4. However, v3.7 will continue to receive security patches until Q3 2025.

The community has also ported Swap Torpedo (a memory defragmentation script) for v3.7, which further reduces lag after 72 hours of uptime.

Solution: Disable "Ambient Display" and "AOD (Always on Display) mock" in the Next Gen Control Center (pre-installed app). The J200G’s display driver does not support deep sleep with AOD active.
