Key Features of his style:

Pillan, a direct disciple of the great Ramanuja, is credited with the very first commentary on a section of the Prabandham. He wrote the Aarayirappadi (The Six-Thousand), a commentary on Nammalvar’s Tiruvaymozhi. He is the foundational figure whose work all
