Let’s be realistic. You are buying a $20-$30 camera. The MD032 Camera 2021 does not compete with an iPhone or a GoPro Hero 10. However, within its price bracket, it punches above its weight.
Video Quality (Daylight): In bright sunlight, the 1080p output is surprisingly usable. The colors are slightly washed out, and the stabilization is non-existent (digital stabilization was not included in the 2021 model), but for stationary shots or helmet mounting, it is acceptable. Low Light & Night Vision: This is where the MD032 shines (literally). The 6 infrared LEDs are surprisingly powerful. In complete darkness, the camera can see up to 20 feet. However, the footage is black and white and grainy. It is excellent for security or wildlife monitoring, but terrible for cinematic night shoots.
Audio: The internal microphone is poor. It picks up vibration (handling noise) more than voice. If you need audio, you will need an external recorder. The 2021 model did not include an external mic jack.
