Lumion Invalid License Fix -

This is the solution for 70% of users. Lumion stores a license file locally. If that file gets corrupted by a Windows update or a crash, Lumion sees "Invalid."

How to wipe the cache (Windows):

  • You will see a file named Activate.cfg (or similar .cfg license files).
  • Delete these files. (Do not worry; Lumion will recreate them cleanly).
  • Go one step deeper: Navigate to %PROGRAMDATA%\Lumion\License\ (if it exists) and delete everything inside.
  • Bonus Registry Clean (Advanced):

    • Now, restart Lumion. It will think it is a fresh install and ask you to activate again. Enter your key. The error should be gone. lumion invalid license fix
