Real-time scanners (especially McAfee and CrowdStrike) frequently flag the Preps imposition engine as a false positive because it writes temporary .pjt files to system folders. Disable AV for the duration of the install.
The default path is C:\Program Files\Kodak\Preps 10\. Changing this is discouraged; some plugins for Acrobat rely on hard-coded paths.
