This is the activation license. Unlike modern subscription software, the Kodak plugins used a serial-number-based offline activation. A "Key" for version 20 usually looks like a 16-20 character alphanumeric code. Because Kodak no longer maintains the activation servers for this legacy software, finding a valid, New key is the primary challenge.

The biggest sin of early digital cameras was noise in the shadows (the dreaded red/green splotches on a dark jacket). GEM 2.0 had a slider that literally said "Shadow Noise."
