After installation, launch KeyRep. You will see a redesigned activation window. Enter your key exactly as provided. The new handler automatically:

Click Activate. You should see “Success – KeyRep activation key fixed and verified.” keyrep activation key fixed

Do not simply overwrite the installation. Residual registry keys or config files retain the faulty activation logic. After installation, launch KeyRep

Run regedit and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KeyRep (back up first if needed).
