1. The World-Building The first episode does a fantastic job of throwing us into this universe without heavy exposition. Within the first 10 minutes, we see a "Performance Review" form for a ghost (KPI: Scares per hour). The humor is visual and smart. The office is painted in dull grays, but there’s a faint green glow and the sound of chains rattling from the breakroom.

2. The Comedy The horror-comedy genre is hard to nail, but Hantu Punya Bos leans hard into the absurd. One scene involves Raka trying to teach a Tuyul (a mischievous child ghost) how to use a photocopier. The Tuyul ends up eating the toner and sneezes black ink everywhere. 3. The “Horror” Elements Don’t think this is just a sitcom. Episode 1 has a genuinely creepy subplot.
