Grachi Temporada 1 Capitulo 1 -free- Guide

Upon arriving at Escolarium, the hierarchy is established quickly. We are introduced to Matilda Román (Andrea Lamarga), the quintessential "mean girl." Matilda is beautiful, wealthy, popular, and arguably the most powerful student at the school—socially, that is. She immediately spots Daniel, the school's handsome heartthrob, and asserts her claim over him.

Grachi’s introduction to the school is awkward. She is clumsy and feels out of place, immediately drawing the attention of Daniel Esquivel (William Levy’s lookalike, Andrés Mercado). Daniel is the captain of the swimming team, the "Sharks," and is intrigued by the new girl's unique vibe.

However, the friction begins when Grachi accidentally crosses paths with Matilda. A misunderstanding leads Matilda to view Grachi as an immediate rival. This rivalry is the catalyst for Grachi’s magical mishaps. When Matilda mocks her or attempts to humiliate her, Grachi’s emotions spike, causing magical accidents that Matilda mistakes for clumsiness, but which astute viewers recognize as raw, uncontrolled power. The Good (The Spellbinding Charm)

The Not-So-Good (The Freeze Spell)

A pivotal scene in Capitulo 1 involves Grachi discovering she is different. While trying to fix a mistake or react to a slight, she casts a spell without meaning to. Unlike Matilda, who (as we learn later) uses magic intentionally for selfish gain, Grachi’s magic is tied to her emotions. It is wild, protective, and unconscious.

The episode concludes with Grachi realizing that her life will never be normal. She has caught the eye of the most popular boy in school, made an enemy of the most powerful girl, and accidentally used magic in a way that changes the trajectory of her day. Upon arriving at Escolarium, the hierarchy is established

During a chemistry class, a beaker is about to fall off the table. In a panic, Grachi stretches out her hand—and the beaker freezes in mid-air. She looks at her hands in horror as a blue electrical current crackles between her fingers. She has no idea how she did it, but she just performed telekinesis.

Later that day, Matilda (Mara Croatto), the school’s mysterious librarian, pulls Grachi aside. Matilda reveals that she is a "Bruja Mayor" (High Witch) and that Grachi comes from a long line of powerful witches. Matilda gives Grachi an amulet (which becomes the show's central McGuffin) and warns her: "There are others like you here. Some will help you. Others will destroy you." The Not-So-Good (The Freeze Spell) A pivotal scene

The episode opens with Grachi (played by Isabella Castillo) arriving in a new, mysterious city with her father, Julio, and her younger brother, Leo. Her mother passed away years ago, and this move is supposed to be a fresh start. Grachi is shy, insecure, and wears oversized glasses—a classic "ugly duckling" trope that immediately makes her relatable.
