Solution: Open Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings → Right-click Geonix adapter → Properties → Configure → Advanced tab → Set "Wireless Mode" to 802.11 b/g/n (not just b/g) → Set "Bandwidth" to 20/40 MHz Auto.
From the official Realtek download, the SHA-256 hash should be listed on the site. You can compute your file’s hash using PowerShell: Solution: Open Control Panel → Network and Sharing
Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 C:\path\to\driver.zip
If it matches, the file is unaltered.
