Adobe is continuously moving toward a cloud-dependent subscription model. Newer versions of Photoshop (2025+) are increasingly storing features server-side. Already, AI tools like “Generative Fill” and “Neural Filters” require a cloud connection and a valid subscription—GenP cannot patch these. You will simply see a grayed-out button or an “Available with Plan” message.
If you rely on AI features, GenP 3.5.0 is essentially useless. For basic editing, layout, and legacy features, the patch may continue to work, but the window is closing.
