Given the success of Freeze 23 12 08, the Ashby Winter Boutique Hotel has announced that “Freeze” will become an annual tradition – every December 8 – with a different artist, theme, and live recording. The 2024 edition is rumored to feature a jazz trio performing inside the hotel’s outdoor ice sculpture garden (weather permitting).
Tickets for 2024 go on sale to hotel loyalty members on October 1, 2024, with general release on October 15. Given that the 2023 event sold out in under 12 minutes, interested parties are advised to book a stay at the hotel (Room 7, in particular, grants early access). Room rates start at £275 per night, including a “Freeze Survival Kit” (hand warmers, a thermos, and a map of local winter walks).
