You cannot browse parts until you identify the vehicle. You can do this in three ways from the left panel:
Method B: MODEL
Method C: BODY/FRAME
While ePER is the gold standard for parts identification, it is not without quirks.
📌 Always check the notes field – it may indicate “up to VIN…”, “from chassis…”, or “not for aircon”.
Let’s say you own a 2009 Fiat Grande Punto and need a new water pump. Here is how you use the Fiat Eper Catalog:
Step 1: Enter your VIN (e.g., ZFA19900001234567). The system automatically identifies: "Grande Punto, 1.4 8V Fire, 2006-2010, 5-door."
Step 2: Select the "Engine" group (Group 10). You will see a tree menu:
Step 3: Click on Group 16. An exploded diagram loads. You see the timing belt, tensioners, and the water pump (usually numbered #4 in the diagram).
Step 4: Look at the parts list below the diagram. Next to #4, you see: "55198765 – WATER PUMP – 1.4 8V – 2007 onwards"
Step 5: Copy that number. Paste it into Google or eBay. You will now find the exact correct pump, not a "universal fit."
ePER (Electronic Parts Exchange and Repair) is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (now Stellantis) official electronic parts catalog. It provides detailed exploded diagrams, part numbers, and technical specifications for vehicles manufactured under the Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and certain other brands.
Originally an internal dealer tool, ePER has become invaluable for independent mechanics, restorers, and DIY enthusiasts.
