Exagear Graphics Patch Download Link Guide
The patch files must go into specific locations depending on your version:
| Issue | Required Patch | Download Priority | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Black screen on Unity games | Wined3d 8.0 patch | Link #1 (Unified) | | Android 12+ permission denial | Scoped storage GL bridge | Link #2 (GitHub) | | Intel HD Graphics tablet | ET Pack with Intel fix | Link #3 (ET Community) | | Adreno 600/700 series GPU | Turnip/Zink patch | Extract from Link #1 /vendor |
Have a question? The ExaGear Discord community (search "ExaGear Retro Gaming") maintains an auto-bot that spits out these patch links instantly. If none of these work, your device's GPU likely lacks the necessary extensions—consider switching to Mali GPU software rendering (the patch #1 includes this fallback).
Good luck, and may your classic Windows games run in 60 FPS on your phone once again.

Google removed 32-bit support in Pixel 8/8a. Fix: You need the VirGL variant of the patch, not the standard one. Look for exagear-virgl-v2.apk combined with the graphics patch.
You downloaded the patch, but you still get a black screen. Here is why:
Extract the patch .7z file. Copy the following files into the above directory, overwriting the originals:
Critical: Set permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--). If permissions are wrong, ExaGear will ignore them.
Inside the ExaGear data directory, look for a folder named image (or exagear.img mounted as a directory). This is the virtual C: drive.
Since the original ExaGear is abandoned, many developers have moved to Mobox or Winlator (both are open-source and actively updated). Winlator, in particular, includes built-in Turnip drivers—no manual patch needed.
Winlator Graphics: Automatically detects your GPU (Adreno, Mali, or PowerVR) and applies the correct graphics bridge. If you cannot find a working ExaGear patch, download Winlator from its official GitHub. Have a question
However, for those clinging to ExaGear for specific legacy containers (like the old "Strategies" build for Heroes of Might and Magic III), the graphics patch remains mandatory.
Delete the folder image/usr/share/exagear/cache/. Then reboot your device.
