One of the most frustrating issues in eMMC recovery is "CRC Errors" (Cyclic Redundancy Check). These usually indicate physical degradation of the NAND cells. Version 1.9 implemented an adaptive read-retry algorithm. If the tool encounters a CRC error, it doesn't abort the operation.
