One of the most frustrating issues in eMMC recovery is "CRC Errors" (Cyclic Redundancy Check). These usually indicate physical degradation of the NAND cells. Version 1.9 implemented an adaptive read-retry algorithm. If the tool encounters a CRC error, it doesn't abort the operation. Instead, it adjusts the read voltage and timing, attempting to salvage data that previous versions would have declared unrecoverable. Go to EXT_CSD tab → “Save to file”

The developer has hinted at a v2.0 focusing on UFS, but as of now, v1.9 remains the gold standard for eMMC-specific tasks.
