Important: De‑activation is recorded on DMDE’s licensing server, preventing the same key from being active on two machines simultaneously. If you forget to deactivate and the server reports “key already in use,” simply contact DMDE support with your receipt, and they’ll reset the key. DMDE uses a file-based key for several reasons:
