For gaps larger than 1 inch (2.5 cm), do not fill entirely with foam. Insert a foam backer rod first, then apply a thin bead of Devfus foam on top. This reduces the internal stress that leads to cracks.

  • Tap injection ports (packers) into holes snugly.

    • This method uses a hydrophilic or hydrophobic polyurethane resin (two-part foam) injected into cracks to stop water infiltration and structurally bind the concrete.
