The Short Answer: No.
CS 1.6 survives because of its community. Silent Aim almost killed that community in 2008. Servers died because players couldn't trust any kill. Don't be the reason a 20-year-old server shuts down. cs 1.6 silent aim
VAC now tracks the difference between the angle the client renders and the angle the client fires. If the delta exceeds a realistic threshold (e.g., you fire at a 90-degree angle from where you are looking), VAC triggers a delayed ban. We must address the elephant in the server room

In CS 1.6 (GoldSrc engine), the client sends usercmd packets to the server containing your view angles and shot commands. A silent aim hack:
Result: you see normal aiming, but the server sees perfect aim.
