Most VR games treat your hands as floating guns. Arkham VR treats your hands as tools.
The core mechanic isn't combat—because there is almost no traditional combat. You cannot punch thugs. You cannot free-flow fight.
Instead, the game focuses on the "World's Greatest Detective" aspect.
The game features Riddler Trophies hidden in the environment. While they don't unlock major gameplay changes, they are required for 100% completion.
By default, the game forces a vignette (black borders) during movement to reduce motion sickness. For veterans, this ruins immersion.
No free roam of Gotham. No vehicle segments. No combat system (except throwing Batarangs at targets).
Verdict: If you have a PC VR headset with inside-out tracking (Quest 2/3 via Link Cable), this is the definitive version.
