Windows 10/11 blocks unsigned Alcor drivers by default. To bypass this: Low-level format takes 5–30 minutes for 2–8 GB drives

Once booted, navigate to the Driver folder inside the MP tool.

Run Installer.exe (for XP/Vista era drivers) or manually update the driver via Device Manager if Windows shows "Alcor Micro USB Device" with a yellow exclamation.
